Who is your God/god?
The world is getting scarier by the day. Depression and addiction are fairly epidemic. U.S. suicide rates are at an 80-year high. Sin is glorified; crime is being normalized. Fear and panic steer the masses. If you don’t have your theological ducks in a row you will find a bazillion things to freak you out or smack you down. In this episode I’m offering the only answer that makes sense to me.
This talk is for those who put stock in the Bible. It is irrelevant for anyone else. But even those who eschew the Bible should know who or what their god is.

GLOSSARY
n = noun; a = adjective
apoplexy—[n] Sudden impairment of neurological function, especially that resulting from a cerebral hemorrhage; a stroke. A fit of extreme anger; rage
autonomy—[n] self rule, self government, individualism, freedom

The omnipresent God is not "in" trees, rocks and flowers. He is a Person/Spirit who is just present everywhere all the time. Don't ask me to explain that further. But aren't we glad we have a God who cannot be described by human experience, understanding or vocabulary!)
omniscient—[a] having infinite understanding, awareness and insight; having universal and complete knowledge; all knowing

QUOTE & LINK
The reason people today are opposed to election is because they will have God to be anything but God. He can be a cosmic psychiatrist, a helpful shepherd, a leader, a teacher, anything at all…only not God. For a very simple reason—they want to be God themselves.
D. James Kennedy (d. 2007), pastor, evangelist—Truths that Transform
This is what we need more of. Sproul is gone. Who has stepped into his shoes?
Or, if you don’t like the thought of an Almighty God who is in control, you can go with Billy Graham’s cosmic runt.

I ask again: WHO IS YOUR GOD/god?
The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer,
my God, my rock, in whom I take refuge;
my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.
I call upon the Lord, who is worthy to be praised,
and I am saved from my enemies.
Psalm 18
